At first they were very few. Over time, women were gaining strength and gaining spaces also on travel to identify profiles at soil classification and correlation meetings (CCRs).
In this year 2024, 23 women were recorded, almost all in this photo that helps tell this story of achievements for women in soil science. Because, it is hard to remember: Woman’s place is where she wants.
The XV Soil Classification and Correlation Meeting (RCCs) took place from October 18 to 25, 2024. The participants traveled 1,400 km for the large Aluvior Plains of the Middle Amazon River and surrounding regions, under the vegetation of Amazonian forest, Campinaranas and Cerrado.
