Desertification! We really need to talk about this.
This process of land degradation in arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid regions, which mainly affects the states of Bahia, Ceará, Piauí, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco and Alagoas, is becoming a cause for concern in Brazil and soil science needs to provide reliable answers to help minimize the damage of desertification in Brazil.
