The book “Soil is a source of life, water and food” is now available to download from the website of the International Union of Soil Science (IUSS). The book is produced by the IUSS to disseminate soil science to children, adolescents and their teachers. The publication is part of the “IUSS goes to school” educational project and was launched in May during the IUSS Centenary celebrations.
With 1,750 pages and translated into English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese, the book is interactive and features interesting and educational cards and stories produced by soil science researchers around the world.
