Registration is open until June 30, the registration for nominations of candidates for the honorary partner of the Brazilian Soil Science Society – 2025 ”, which will be granted during the XXXIX Brazilian Congress of Soil Science, in September, in Maranhão.
The tribute is granted to those who have contributed remarkably to the development of soil science in Brazil and also to the Brazilian Society of Soil Science. Professionals in life, inactive or active in research institutions can be indicated and, or, teaching and, or rural extension and, or private companies, as well as institutions.

Award candidates’ nominations can be made:
a) by at least one third of the members of the Director Director, or
b) by the boards of at least two specialized divisions, or
c) by the boards of at least three regional or state centers, or
d) by a group of at least 30 effective partners.

Applications must be sent to the SBCS Executive Secretariat by e-mail: sbcs@sbcs.org.br, accompanied by a detailed statement of the nomination to the award, highlighting the candidate’s contribution to scientific research and, or technology in soil science in the country and also to SBCS and the curriculum vitae of the nominee.
